Swirling Serpent Scarab Necklace with Diamond, Pink Tourmaline

This Swirling Serpent Scarab Necklace is a powerful sculptural jewel that captures the hypnotic movement of a coiled snake. The sinuous body is richly adorned with meticulously applied scarab wings, creating a textured surface that shimmers in vivid green and blue tones, reminiscent of natural snake scales. The head is crafted in 9K gold and set with striking pink tourmaline eyes, while full-cut diamonds and additional pink tourmalines accent the crown for added brilliance. The winding body and tail are finished in silver with black rhodium plating, set with diamonds and pink tourmalines to enhance contrast and depth.

Inspired by the scarab’s ancient meaning of renewal and protection, LAdV reinterprets the form through refined handwork, precious metals, and gemstones, often paired with natural materials unique to the brand. Each design is crafted slowly and in limited numbers, giving every scarab jewel its own character, movement, and soul—an artistic emblem that has become unmistakably LAdV. 

This piece took over 2-3 months to produce, with over 6-8 craftsmen involved at various stages of design, production and finishing.
