Scarab Bonsai Sunset Clutch with Diamond & Lapiz

The Scarab Bonsai Sunset Clutch is a refined statement piece that blends artistry, colour, and versatility. The structured frame is wrapped in supple orange cow leather, evoking the warmth of a sunset, and finished with a striking lapis lazuli cabochon set into the top clasp. The front is adorned with a delicate bonsai tree motif, where gold branches are embellished with nearly one hundred hand-cut scarab wings shaped as tiny leaves, their natural iridescence enhanced by subtle diamond accents. Inside, a vivid blue silk lining adds a luxurious contrast. Designed for versatility, the clutch can be carried elegantly by hand or worn with a detachable chain, secured discreetly through hidden interior locks.

Scarab designs by LAdV are a signature expression of the House’s identity, blending symbolism, nature, and craftsmanship. Inspired by the scarab’s ancient meaning of renewal and protection, LAdV reinterprets the form through refined handwork, precious metals, and gemstones, often paired with natural materials unique to the brand. Each design is crafted slowly and in limited numbers, giving every scarab jewel its own character, movement, and soul—an artistic emblem that has become unmistakably LAdV. 

This piece took over 2 months to produce, with over 6-7 craftsmen involved at various stages of design, production and finishing.
