This peacock sculpture by Lotus Arts de Vivre is created from a rare natural Lingzhi mushroom, whose dramatic layered form naturally unfolds into the peacock's magnificent fanned tail. The body is meticulously crafted in sterling silver, while turquoise-set eyes introduce a subtle touch of colour. The sculpture rests upon a hand-carved teak wood and granite base, further embellished with finely detailed sterling silver lotus motifs, bringing together the beauty of nature, exceptional artistry, and master craftsmanship in a truly unique collectible piece.
Crafted from exceptionally rare natural Lingzhi fungus — revered in East Asia as the “Mushroom of Immortality” — this Lotus Arts de Vivre creation celebrates nature, longevity, and artistic transformation. Extremely difficult to find in such monumental forms, each specimen develops over many years in the wild, resulting in unique organic textures and structures that make every sculpture a one-of-a-kind collectible work of art.
It took eight master craftsmen with a combined production time of 3 months to complete the Peacock.
