Mother of Pearl Plate with Peacock

A mother-of-pearl plate handcrafted from some of the finest mother-of-pearl sourced in Southeast Asia, elegantly adorned with sterling silver peacock motifs. The design features the peacock’s head on one side and its intricately fanned tail on the other, with each silver element meticulously sculpted to reveal the texture and detail achieved by master silversmiths. Combining organic beauty with refined craftsmanship, the piece functions both as a serving plate and as a decorative object.

Perfectly suited for formal dining, the plate may be used for caviar presentation, evening cocktails with miniature hors d’oeuvres, or for serving fruits, desserts, and candies during gatherings. Commercial sourcing of these shells became widespread in the early twentieth century, and such materials were often associated with royalty across different eras.
