Graceful Scarab-Gilded Dragonfly Pendant/Brooch with Diamond and Ruby

This graceful Scarab-Gilded Dragonfly is a refined celebration of craftsmanship and versatility. Crafted in 9K gold, the dragonfly features vivid ruby eyes and a body set with shimmering full-cut diamonds that add delicate brilliance. The wings and tail are meticulously formed from hand-cut scarab wings, carefully arranged to echo the natural shape and luminous iridescence of a real dragonfly. To intensify the depth of colour, the base is crafted in silver with black rhodium plating, creating striking contrast. Designed to be worn both as a pendant and a brooch, the piece includes a removable attachment for effortless styling, while the brooch function is secured with a 10K gold pin and a specialized safety lock system.

Scarab designs by LAdV are a signature expression of the House’s identity, blending symbolism, nature, and craftsmanship. Inspired by the scarab’s ancient meaning of renewal and protection, LAdV reinterprets the form through refined handwork, precious metals, and gemstones, often paired with natural materials unique to the brand. Each design is crafted slowly and in limited numbers, giving every scarab jewel its own character, movement, and soul—an artistic emblem that has become unmistakably LAdV. 

This piece took over 2 months to produce, with over 6-8 craftsmen involved at various stages of design, production and finishing.
