A container crafted from mouth-blown free-form glass and embellished with a sterling silver tiger. Versatile in function, the piece may also be used as a candy dish, central napkin holder, tissue holder, or small flower vase, making it equally suitable as a decorative object or gift.

Mouth-blown glass is a traditional glass-forming technique that involves inflating molten glass into a bubble using a blowpipe or blow tube. Since ancient times, glassblowing has been regarded as the art of shaping decorative glass through the manipulation of molten material, a practice mastered by legendary Japanese glass artist Seiki Torige.

This piece was co-created through an artistic collaboration between Lotus Arts de Vivre and Seiki Torige. While Seiki applied his mastery of glass artistry to form the vessel, Lotus Arts de Vivre carefully crafted the sterling silver embellishment.

As a spirit animal, the tiger symbolises willpower, courage, and personal strength. Tigers and dragons are also recognised as complementary forces representing yin and yang. In Chinese culture, the god of wealth, Tsai Shen Yeh, is often depicted seated upon a tiger to emphasise his power, while tigers themselves are regarded as guardians of children.
