Frosted and Fiery Imperial Dragon - Size M

A commanding imperial dragon takes form in this sculptural collaboration between LAdV and GORDON GU. The dragon’s head, claws, and tail are hand-moulded by LAdV’s master artisans, capturing every fierce expression, scale, and movement in meticulous detail before being forged in Nickel with a rich silver-like finish. Flowing through the centre is a luminous, crystal-like body featuring ‘Glacier Crystal’, an engineered resin technology, patented and perfected by GORDON GU. Assembled in Thailand, this piece embodies a cross-cultural exchange of craftsmanship and artistry between both the brands.

As a revered totem in East Asian culture, the Dragon symbolises potent and auspicious power — traditionally associated with control over water, rainfall, and the forces of nature — while representing strength, authority, wisdom, protection, and good fortune for those worthy of its energy. The fifth of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals, linked to the Earthly Branch 辰 (chen), the Dragon is universally regarded as a sign of leadership and rising success. In this sculpture, the dragon is captured in dynamic upward movement, embodying growth, momentum, and the continuous elevation of fortune. The crystal-clear resin core represents clarity, balance, and the pure flow of Qi, allowing light and energy to move freely through the form, while the brass elements anchor the piece with strength, stability, and wealth-activating energy. Designed as a Feng Shui power object, the sculpture enhances Sheng Qi — the positive life force — making it ideal for executive offices, reception spaces, or private residences where vision, authority, and prosperity are cultivated. Both a refined statement artwork and a symbolic guardian, it invites protection, confidence, and enduring success into its surroundings.

Over 4 months of were spent to create this piece with over 10 designers and craftsmen involved across the brand’s ateliers in Thailand and China.
