Flexible Ring with Tsavorite and Scarab

A flexible ring hand-crafted with finely cut Scarab wings set into black rhodium plated Sterling silver. At both ends of the ring, an elegant contrast of 18K Yellow gold and tsavorite add the finishing touches of luxury. The flexible ring collection has been a part of the atelier’s design since its inception, and it continues to be a quintessential LAdV design till date. This elegant design can be worn during an easy day out, or beautifully paired with an evening attire. 

 Scarabs are found across ancient cultures and revered by the Egyptians, it symbolised rebirth and renewal. Its naturally iridescent wings—formed without pigment—shift in luminous hues and endure for generations, reflecting nature’s quiet brilliance and timeless transformation. Scarab wings display natural colours that cannot be dyed or replicated. Green symbolises renewal, blue is for protection, while dark stands for strength in mystery, and gold being for eternity. Together, they reflect nature’s quiet intelligence, carrying meanings shaped by time, belief, and transformation. At LAdV, scarab jewellery is shaped by patience and restraint. Wings are ethically collected after their natural life cycle, then hand-sorted, prepared, and set one by one—each wing requiring 12–15 minutes of focused handwork. Their iridescence is never altered, only protected, and every piece takes months to complete, guided by nature’s pace and disciplined craftsmanship. 

Every piece takes approximately 5-6 weeks to finish with over 7 craftsmen and designers involved at various stages.
