Beautiful crafted Ram wine bucket from a Single piece of Japanese Burl. Embellished with Sterling silver and carved black wood horns.

The Burl wood comes from a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds. Burls are extremely dense and resistant to splitting, which makes it valued for bowls, artifacts and sculptures.

It took six craftsmen over 2 months to complete this piece.
