Lingzhi Betta Fish – Serenity

This betta fish (also called the Siamese fighting fish) sculpture is created from a natural piece of Lingzhi wood, with its body delicately embellished in sterling silver and accented with 24K gold leaf. Black onyx stones highlight the eyes, adding a subtle depth of contrast. The fish appears to swim alongside a sculpted teak wood stump. 

For centuries, the mysterious Lingzhi fungus has occupied a revered place in the cultures of East Asia — a symbol of longevity, harmony, wisdom, and spiritual power. Known in China as the “Mushroom of Immortality,” Lingzhi once adorned imperial courts, sacred temples, and the private collections of scholars and nobles.
