Lotus Arts de Vivre marked the arrival of the Year of the Dragon with an intimate evening at Laoteng Restaurant, set within Bangkok’s Arnoma Grand Hotel. The refined Chinese setting provided a natural context for Unleash Your Dragon, a collection shaped by myth, material, and handcraft.

Throughout the evening, guests encountered sculptural home décor and haute joaillerie presented quietly and without spectacle. The works revealed months of hand labour—carved wood, layered lacquer, mouth-blown glass, and silver formed directly around organic materials—each piece conceived as singular rather than repeatable.

The dragon, a cross-cultural symbol of power, protection, and renewal, anchored the evening’s narrative. In Chinese tradition, the Year of the Dragon is considered deeply auspicious; in 2024, the Year of the Wooden Dragon, it carries particular resonance with growth and elemental balance.
