Keyaki or Japanese Elm is a species of the genus Zelkova native to Japan, Korea, eastern China and Taiwan and is often grown as an ornamental tree. Keyaki wood is a highly prized wood in Japan for its beautiful grain, hardness and weight. It can be polished or stained.
